2008 january : in studio with malte zorn february berlinale 2007: transmediale h berlinale gigs and rehearsles with Halleluja Highway took the bass again in the original line-up of KURI AND THE HURICANS(right spelling) made filmmusic with St.Clover for "Alles Mutter" -a movie about a single-mom living in Berlin-Friedrichshain composed some music for 2 theater-events dayjob as unit-manager at the Filmstudios Babelsberg till the end of the year during my "off-days" in studio- recording some "cajun-esk"songs with Malte Zorn will be on i-tunes in early 2008!! Maybe thats where my love for country,blues and jazz comes from. My father was cantor and organist at the church. My mother was music-teacher and still is singer in a profi-choir. Took Lessons in classical composing-techniques. Aswell in jazz-arrangements and composition. Studied Germanliterature, Geography and Theater Science. Played at school with a Rockabilly/Blues band-the Grapes of Wrath. Had the pleasure to jam with Freddie King at the age of 15. Also had the pleasure to play in one of Champion Jack Duprees backing bands at the age of 16. Played late 70-ties and early 80-ties in several bands. Cofounded "Final Curtain"1983 and "Jan van Cleef"in 1988. Played with the nucleus of Jan van Cleef in Lysanne Thibodeaux’s Cajun and Countryband, Louisianna Rank Strangers. Make filmmusic.
