| Hi, I'm the editor of WorshipIdeas.com - a free website and weekly email newsletter devoted to the practical side of contemporary church worship.
I love congregational worship songs. It's not easy to write a song that's simple enough for people to sing together, yet still be catchy and interesting. Back in 2003 I had a songwriting contest at the website. I got some good songs and some... not so good songs... but one day I got an email from England with an mp3 attached. The song was "Our God Reigns" by the young UK worship leader Tim Light. I couldn't believe how good it sounded - and this song won my contest (you can download a free mp3 and chord chart at WorshipIdeas.com .) I think it's as good as anything you'd hear from Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin or Tim Hughes, and will one day be used all over the world (it's been download by over 20,000 churches to date!)
