Chaos is our sin:- Ultimate trigger Mechanism now enter their third year of existence with a firm belief they have something different to offer. Writing songs at a prolific rate, "Mutagenesis" is their third release. Again all recording, Production and Artwork has been done "in house" with the emphasis being very much on quality output. U.T.M represent a musical ethos where frightening heaviness is coupled with 'Hooky' Riffs and ferocious blast beats are juxtaposed with 'left field' time signatures. With their sound ever evolving U.T.M could never be accused of being predictable. Their following is building momentum with the live fingers of the mechansim spreading further afield. They are now regular visitors to Exeter, Newport and bristol.U.T.M are hungry to play live with a view to support slots with bigger, named bands and to share their nightmarish strain of metal. Recent Evening Post Review:- Bristol Sounds Live: Fleece July 4th. This was a night that was never going to be for the faint-hearted. Frome-based Ultimate Trigger Mechanism have been around for some time in one form or another. Tattooed, facially pierced shirt-less singer Dr Growl lived up to his name, growling in quite menacing fashion as he prowled between stage and audience. There is little subtlety about there music- it is loud, energetic and exciting, with twin guitars and drums produce a deafening sonic assault.
