| I am a cynical bitch with a soft heart. I don't suffer fools gladly, but it's easy to make fun of them. And I do. A lot. I think there's a bit of humor in even the most macabre. I am not afraid to wish others I hate to just die, cause it's something I have to do myself someday. What's the freaking taboo?? More than once I had someone hear me wish some doofus dead and they always implore me not to say that lest I get struck by lightning or some other malady. I'm not afraid of God. I embrace the fact that that we are made in his image. To me that translates to there is a small sliver of God that like me, is a sassy gay attention whore. There are worse things to be.I always believe in not screwing people over. Even people I don't like. The way I look at it, they will spin into oblivion by their own hand. I just get to watch. I have a former roommate that is just about to burn out with all the evil in his system. Just a 360 degree spinning head spewing green pea soup all over society.I love my life. I always try to improve on it. I have no real family to speak of anymore. I have a lot of blood relatives, but it's a rare circumstance to find me in a room with any of them. I don't hate 'em or anything. In fact I love them all dearly, but they aren't down with the me being gay thing. I've never had the big coming out, but they all know. My parents had me late in life. Daddy was almost 53 and Mom was 41 when I came around. My parents were saints to put up with me. I was a precocious child to say the least. I was the youngest of six boys they raised. The youngest at the time was already 11 when I was born. The oldest was 23.I always thought I knew EVERYTHING when I was a kid. As I get older, I find I'm not as slick as I thought I was all those years ago. I don't mind what people think of me now. I used to be consumed with trying to be what I thought people wanted me to be. Now I am concerned about what I think of myself. I have a clearer conscience as I get older. I love my friends, where I live, my job and my cat Izzy. | |
