| Alvinella Pompejana is the Latin name given to the Pompeii worm, which lives in the abyss at minus 2500 meters and deeper. It is thus surrounded by darkness, pressure and silence.Alvinella Pompejana was born in aprust 2006 from a desire shared by Karin, Laurent and Sylvain (respectively Bass player, Guitar player/singer and Drummer) to create a music in which all kinds of influences could be injected. We call that Ulyss Metal among us (but you too can use this expression), because we are not willing to be categorized ; well, the truth is we actually don’t have any idea what to call our style… Let’s say there’s a little bit of Death metal, maybe a little bit of Punk rock, a few blast beats on clear vocals, and a lot of we don’t know what and we don’t give a f**k… The whole thing is straight and catchy. The list of our influences would be too long ; it would go from Morbid Angel (so evil ! ! !) to James Blunt (so much love ! ! !) passing by ………, ………., ………….., or even………….. !
