Welcome to The Larceny bio:Larceny was born as Lawrence G. Dunbar in new york city,New York on December 17, 1979 in Lenox Hill Hospital located in Harlem. Larceny grew up in Brooklyn as a youngster with his mother lucinda and his brother & sister, his pain in his life started at the age of 9 when his father was sentenced too 15yrs in prision. After his father conviction larceny felt being the oldest of three (3) he had too step up his position in life from a young boy to a wise young man too take on task that his father would had taken on in some parts and areas of life. He attended p.s. 327 in brownsville,brooklyn and also attended j.h.s. 263 known as marcus garvey junior high school also located in brooklyn. after his last year in j.h.s. he then moved too south ozone park,New york city located in the boro of queens with his grandmother mavis where he attended John adams high school where he picked up a consistant rap style of his own, larceny spent most of his high school days & times writing lyrics & also joining freestyle competitions no matter what/where & when.after his 2nd year in john adams high school Larceny then relocated too the bronx too live with his aunt and cousins for awhile then moved too jersey city,new jersey he then picked up on a different life style that lead too be a street hustler that drove him too violence as well as joining a organization called the "187" larceny was still then into writing his own material , he attended dickinson high school where he ran track/field but at the same time larceny was still very motivated and determine too continue writing his lyrics until one day after school on his way home on the new jersey transit city bus larceny and his bestfriend "pook" spotted a recording studio called "pearl jam" where they only specialized in pop/rock music until larceny made a appointment too come into the studio too utilize his skill and ability of the hip-hop music style, the next day he was in the studio where he dropped his 1st single "growing pains" the song became a hit in the streets shortly after laying the track down in the studio, the motivation from the streets made Larceny even more determine and motivated too make more music, but studio expenses wasn't cheap so he had too find away too pay for recording time, so he hustled his money up in the streets for recording time and also picked up on a part-time job while still attending school too higher his education and also too continue running on the track team, after 4yrs living in new jersey Larceny then returned back too south ozone park,queens where he lived with his grandmother, he then formed a street family establishment by the name of GP-Ghetto&Proud it started off as a click around the way but later larceny transformed one part of Ghetto&Proud into a underground rap group that consist on 3-artist Larceny/Lyte & kanavine, the 3-dudes worked & hustled too record songs no matter what, also traveld too different cities and towns too present there music too dj's and radio stations as well has the streets/hoods, as time went by the team started too have different visions and beliefs but that didn't stop larceny from holding the team down, kanavine the 3rd man of gp put his time on pause due too conviction , he didn't return too GP as a artist but did return as family, that then only left Larceny & Lyte two brother's destine too make their way into the hip-hop nation without any pit-stops,Larceny has accomplished so much thru the years and time as a artist, larceny has worked with more than a dozen artist & producers throughout the united states as well as ova-seas, he also appeared on mixtapes such as "we want in" presented by nazty & j dollaz & hosted by djcraig-g he presented his 1st mixtape called "true too da game" following by "Da return of da lost" presented by larceny & hosted by dj suprem productions from france. Larceny has made very successful links and merges with other establishments/movements & family organizations in his time with major/unsigned/independent movements such as xclusive family/slowgrind e.n,t./diamond chain unltd./extream measures/godchild productions/uzi music/hold up music/blacktriad e.n.t. and many more, he also has links and communications with a high number of known & unknown dj's and radio station dj's as well as , Larceny is a perfect example of what hip-hop is in need of from his lyrics/motivation & swagger the package of this young motivated black man is highly respected and supported in many areas of the world his down2earth ways is well loved by family,friends and fans without a doubt, larceny position in life is just not known too be a unsigned rap artist but he is also a great son and a loving father of one daughter and a loved family member from all of his family members.the record is straight and clear that Larceny will make his entry in the hip-hop music world with a comfortable vibe and pace, in due time,but not long, the world will hear & vision more of what Larceny has too bring too the table and most of all will feel the energy he brings within his music. Larceny is here too stay so get use too this guy if you haven't already, he is serious about his music and well focus on his grind, a true hustler he is ! in due time yall will understand his ambition as well as direction and paths.
