Get Your Own Voice Player Managemy name is trent my father died when i was 12. that really didnt bother me because i was so young. during my 7th and 8th grade years i became a bad person always doing the wrong stuff. at the moment it was alright to me. when i got to highschool i got in with the wrong crowd. i started drinking and smoking doing all sorts of stuff. partying all of the time. i came close to death at times because of stupid decisions. then in nov 2003 my mother got killed in a car accident. that shook my world apart. i didnt think i would be able to live on. my sister and brother in law took me in to take care of me. as a result life has been better. i came to know Jesus Christ as my personal savior in 2004. since then all has been well. now im at william carey to get a degree in Religion to become a youth minister. my life revolves around the ministry thats what im called to do. member of Sigma Psi Nu best frat at carey. i love god with all of my heart he is the best thing in this world, i can trust god all the time, life is good right now, im workin at D&B furniture family owned and operated, i love bluegrass and any Chirstian music.As the years passed by i began to wonder why i was put here on earth I thought but I could not find a reason why i was here but then a tragic event happened in my life I lost a loved one that was very close to my life I began to think again about my life I came to realize what if i died today then God came into my life and He turned me around now I know why I am here I am here to do God's work a poem by Trent Odomdid you know that a survey was taken among Christian young people Here is the results: 74% say they cheat on school tests 83% say they lie to their teachers 93% say they lie to their parents 63% say they become pysically violent toward others 63% dont believe Jesus is the Son ot the one true God 58% believe all faiths teach equally vaild truths 51% dont believe Jesus rose for the dead 65% dont believe Satan is a real entity 68% dont believe the Holy Spirit is a real entity 70% dont believe an absolute moral truth existsif an absolute moral truth didnt exist everything known to man wouldnt exist Jesus said "I am the way, truth and life." Jesus helf fidelity to the original (God) the bible is truth because it holds Fidelity to the original (God)what makes a person happy. Examples food sports tv music. what are good things some think sex drugs alcohol are good. but what is really good. how do you spell good (good) now take God out of that and all you have left is O. how can something really be good without God. good things are only good when God is in it."When I say, I am a Christian Im not shouting Im clean livin.
