Chevybombs.com ChevyBombs.com is the new old skool place to appreciate, view, and discuss pre-54 American fat fender steel cars. So what exactly constitutes a Bomb? Many will see the word Bombita, Bomba, and/or Bomb in reference to a genre of an old domestic car in Lowrider, Street Low, and maybe Rod & Custom Magazine. The Bomb or pre 54 cars and trucks, were designed with large wide steel front and rear fenders separated from the hood and containing a split window. In addition, the automakers of the 20s 50s did not hold back on the amount of chrome wrapping the car. Many will cruise with their 3 whitewall and fender skirts to give it that classic gangster look. br Our goal is to have a magazine of pure pre 54 cars and trucks.
