| picassound was brought up in Madrid 1996. After the two first Demos recording and self distribution during the years 1998-1999, the band starts playing live in more than 70 concerts around the main Madrid Clubs as El Sol, Moby Dick, Caracol, Maravillas, Gruta 77, Siroco, Quatre y Stereo. In March 2000 the band signs a contract with a record company called Rompeolas. The same year during July and August they recorded their first record: Jukebox. Jukebox: the first record Jukebox is a 11 songs record in which picassound spreads its musical spectrum based on powered guitars and good melodies. Swinging always within the Rock, picassound goes in and out from other close ..sound territories.., taking always from them other interesting things: slow rhythms, synthetic programming, devastating drums.. ..Ático 44..: The new Record After the last Records Company (Rompeolas) closed down, and also after getting the current composition of the Band .. after some changes in the drums -, picassound decided to prepare a self-produced record "Ático 44" that its already finished. ..Ático 44.. contains 14 songs in which picassound is still building its typical sound around Rock with a creative attitude. Nowadays At present, picassound is looking for a new Records Company. This year the last product has been recorded a new 2 songs Demo , that is being now presented to public in some shows. UN POCO DE HISTORIA El grupo picassound se formó en Madrid en el año 1996. Después de la grabación y auto distribución de sus dos primeras maquetas en los años 1998-99 el grupo comienza a tocar en directo, dando más de 70 conciertos en salas como El Sol, Moby Dick, Caracol, Maravillas, Gruta 77, Siroco, Quatre y Stereo entre otras. El grupo firma con la discográfica Rompeolas en marzo del año 2000 y durante los meses de julio y agosto de ese mismo año graba su primer disco: Jukebox. Jukebox: el primer disco Jukebox contiene 11 canciones en las que picassound despliega su abanico sónico construido a partir de guitarras enérgicas y buenas melodías. Pivotando siempre en el Rock, picassound entra y sale en territorios sonoros cercanos cogiendo lo que más le interesa de éstos: ritmos lentos unas veces, guitarrazos densos otras, bajos aéreos, programaciones sintéticas, baterías fustigantes y demoledoras... ..Ático 44..: el nuevo disco Después del cese de actividad de su anterior Compañía Discográfica (Rompeolas) y la reestructuración del grupo tras diversos cambios de batería, el grupo decidió autoproducir su nuevo disco "Ático 44" que ya tiene preparado. ..Ático 44.. contiene 14 nuevas canciones en las que picassound continua construyendo su característico sonido siempre entrando y saliendo del Rock como campo sonoro y de actitud creativa. la actualidad En estos momentos picassound está buscando una nueva Compañía Discográfica. La banda acaba de grabar una Demo con dos nuevas canciones que está siendo presentada en diferentes conciertos. |
