| We have had a groovy time diving into the swedish progg-productions from the 60s and the 70s. Apart from our swedish preferences we also love british pop from the same period. Hopefully that will be obvious listening to our second cd...*s*. Lasse´s first love was a man named Aaron and Karin´s a man called Donovan, american rock and british pop brought us up in the insignificant small industrial communities in the middle of Sweden. In our daily work we are both situated on the university of Karlstad, Sweden, as teachers in the teachers trainig courses. A challenge everey day and a jobb we love. Lasse is known as the former bass-player in the swedish band Dublin Fair, playing irish folk-rock with a touch of techno. Karin, the singer in granny K, is going from backstage to on stage before she is going to be 54 in August!And yes....she´s the granny!==================================================May 2007: granny K´s debute cd is released! Five songs and an acoustic bonus. The songs are all from the 70s to the 90s and they are all made by men and earlier performed by men. Now granny´s taken them out of the Lake of Forgetfulness, dressed them in a feminin, sensual, modern dress and put them out on the Sky of Recollections! Du kommer att älska både innehåll och konvolut! Konvolutet är en tribute till det största F:et genom tiderna; Anders F Rönnblom. De fem låtarna på skivan är: Drömde och Jag ser en eld som brinner (Anders F), Vandrar i ett regn (Pugh Rogefeldt), Tusen dagar (Perssons pack) och Vaggvisa (Norrbottens Järn). Musiken är gjord av och tidigare framförd av män. Nu tar granny K över dessa artefakter, polerar dem kärleksfullt med en kvinnlig, sensuell intuition och ger dem ett nytt liv och dig en nostalgisk, lycklig upplevelse! För facila 50 kr blir denna uppenbarelse din. The Beatles,and The Beatles a lot of times in all days in our Life, Rolling Stones ,Kinks and Hendrix,Troggs, Zombies, Facts, Dublin Fair, Charlie Parker,Lars Gulin, Anders F Rönnblom, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Joni Mitchell, Phil Ochs, Tom Paxton........and almost every folksinger and Sheryl Crow, Carole King, and we cant name them all ...Them, Why Not, The Who?
