Reportage "En Coulisse Avec" (Lyon, le 08.11.07) Après avoir fait ses premières armes à Manchester, où il a vécu pendant 4 ans, Nicolas Driot a rapporté Kandid dans ses bagages en juin 2003. Depuis, en solo ou accompagné, il a donné plus de 250 concerts. Reflets dun univers poétique et fragile, ses prestations scéniques respirent la spontanéité, distillent une bonne humeur communicative et une énergie habitée. Des qualités également démontrées par un 1er album frissonnant, «Les Premiers Pas», réalisé par Denis Clavaizolle (ex-arrangeur de Jean-Louis Murat). Un nouvel album est en préparation... His 1st single was produced by Mick Routledge ("Spaceheads") and featured on two compilation albums released by RF Records. In 2003, after many gigs in the North-West region of England, Nicolas finally got back to France where he has since given more than 200 concerts. He has opened for many well known French artists, such as Miossec, Raphael, Pauline Croze, Bertignac, Kaolin and Magyd Cherfi... In 2004, Kandid released his 1st album, entitled «Les Premiers Pas». It was produced by Denis Clavaizolle, who had formerly worked with Jean-Louis Murat. |
