..Sur une scène R&B en perpétuelle ébullition, rares sont les artistes qui ont su cultiver leur registre musical et l’enrichir. Une démarche qui n’a pas laissé le public de Willy Denzeyindifférent : un premier album plébiscité par ses pairs, propulsé en haut des charts avec des tubes comme « Le mur du son », « 1 » ou « L’orphelin ». Un second album certifié disque d’or en quelques semaines, marqué par la reprise du titre de Joe Dassin « Et si tu n’existais pas ». Et dernièrement un titre qui a boosté la BO de « High School Musical 2 ». Willy Denzey totalise aujourd’hui plus de 300 000 albums et un million de singles vendus. Désormais plus mature, Willy entend aller plus loin. Son énergie, sa présence, son flow, sa capacité à créer ses propres ambiances musicales, illustrent une réelle personnalité artistique dans le R&B français. Avec un 3ème album entre dancefloor et confessions intimes, il relève encore le défi de surprendre. Avide d’explorer de nouveaux territoires musicaux, Willy a souhaité mélanger les univers pour cet album. Il a en outre voulu innover en invitant l’orchestre symphonique de Budapest sur des ballades. Soucieux de ne pas oublier les amateurs de sons « bounce », il a aussi fait une adaptation très réussie du classique de Khaled, « Didi », avec en featuring Amerie. Avec son premier single « Décide de ma vie », Willy fait un retour en force remarquable, sur une production signée Kore (« Raï’n’B Fever »). Parler de « tube » ou de « hit », serait signer un énième argumentaire promo de termes souvent galvaudés. Nul besoin d’en rajouter, Willy marque sa différence et ça s’entend ! Willy Denzey is 25 years old, heís a new international RNB rising star. Willy Denzey resides in Paris, France. Parents come from Laos, but he hasnít been to Laos yet. Heís living a dream in France.Willy formed a band known as PRODYGE CREW with four childhood pals. In June 2000 Willy took part in the "Granulates of Star". From here on ward people start to realise he has something special in him, his exceptional voice for RNB, his unique ability. His first single, " Que vous dire " invades radio waves. His name starts floating around and people are bombarded with his voice. The first single has sold more 300000 copies. He released hits after hits. The stand out tracks include Tentation, Le Mur Du Son, Number On, BeautÈ, De Quel Droit, XL, Life, Orphelin... He released his first album " 1 - Number One" in October 2003. It has all his incomparable hit songs ranging from fragile ballads to slaughters dance floor.This CD covers all bases, the kind of hip hop thatís not offensive to anyone, cool RíníB, sexy and groovy urban. The titles are composed by Wayne Tatz, Kore & Skalp, Little D, George & Kool and Willy Denzey. These guys have truly mastered the art of producing quality songs. This CD highlight the individual input to create something beautiful. Seriously, this is the album. Like Lao food, this is definitely an acquired taste. The lyrics are something to crow about.
