I am a business woman, a professional model, an NPC Figure competitor, an author on bodybuilding.com, a chef,a wife to a super sexy husband, and a mother to 2 gorgeous dogs, BoBo and Bella. I have worked out since I was young. My mother home-schooled my brother and I until I was in 6th grade. She used to bring us to the gym and that is where I learned my love for working out. I am going to be competing this year after I have KNEE SURGERY on May 27th for a torn medial meniscus, ACL, and arthritis behind the knee cap. My business, Tamar Fitness Group, LLC is all about health, fitness, training, and learning how to make the most of what the GOOD LORD gave each of us naturally. I want people, especially women, to feel welcome at my website. I want people to feel like they really are part of my life and that my stories, training advice, nutrition advice, and life experiences are all worthwhile to them. I want to be YOUR LIFE-FITNESS COACH and an inspiration to you! I have a few wonderful inspirations. My mother inspires me because she just keeps learning about herself and shares it with me. I also love Ava Cowan (she is a close personal friend now as well) and Jennifer Nicole Lee! Both of these women inspire me to be the best I can be! One of my biggest goals this year is to have a fully functioning website with all the links to my favorite brands and products! I want to have many of my articles posted, workouts posted, and training advice posted. I will be including positive affirmations as I believe that being positive is part of the key to living a meaningful and successful life! I also am thrilled to announce that I am working along with Bodybuilding.com by writing for them again. I have articles that are going to be published in Southern Muscle Plus Magazine as well. Another HUGE GOAL that I have is to be Officially Endorsed and Sponsored by a Major Supplement Company. This company will be proud to have me on their team as I will be extremely proud to be on their team because I will be able to say that I can actually use their products! Another passion of mine would be the breed of dogs called American Pitbull Terriers and American Staffordshire Terriers. These great dogs are getting a bad rap due to the fact that many people who should not own them, do, then abuse them and they become mean and unpredictable. I am going to work hard to fight Breed Specific Legislation. I was raised my whole life with Pitbulls and I am very distraught over the fact that people want to take away my right to own a breed of dog that I know for a fact are awesome family dogs and are as mentally stable as any other dog. There have been studies at Universities testing the personalities of different breeds and pitbulls ranked higher than many small dogs and even golden retrievers! Do not judge the breed, judge the deed (and the DEED is what human kind has and is doing). Dogs will be dogs. It is up to us to protect them and treat them kindly. I also love sports. I absolutely love football! After football season is over, I sort of get depressed. I will even watch the NFL Channel like it is my job! I was excited to watch the draft and I cannot wait every year for September to roll around! College football is my favorite and then the pros. The Florida Gators are my team as are the Miami Dolphins and the Chicago Bears (the Bears are due to my hubby being a HUGE Bears and Walter Payton fan all his life).
