| I Makaber Antrieb nascono nel 2002 a Cremona da una malsana idea di Steven e Bozzu ai quali entro breve si aggregano Riky che, con le sue idee, aiuta a gettare le basi del gruppo, e Duncan al basso. Le prime sonorita' puntano verso il grind e l'hardcore piu' estremo con un approccio molto grezzo, diretto e istintivo sia nei testi che nella musica.
Dopo qualche tempo ai quattro si unisce Bart, talentuoso chitarrista di origini francesi che, con il suo esuberante apporto creativo, aiuta il gruppo ad assumere un carattere via via piu' definito, nel quale si accostano caratteristiche dell'hardcore tradizionale (batteria sincopata ed aggressiva, voce in screaming puro) a elementi tipici del trash-metal e del post-hardcore.
Dopo l'uscita di Duncan dalla band, nell'estate del 2004 si installa stabilmente Ranca: la formazione e' cosi' completa e i cinque partono con i concerti che contano, viaggiando per tutto il pianeta, dalle Alpi alle Piramidi, dal Manzanarre al Reno. |
