Myspace Graphics "TRUTH HURTS" NOW AVAILABLE IN STORES EVERYWHERE!!!!!Miss Shalya or Shay (as she likes to be called) was born and raised in Toledo,Ohio. She is currently residing in Milwaukee,Wisconsin with her three children, consisting of twin boys and a girl.Always wanting to pursue the dream of writing a book it was not until after reading a book called That Gangsta Sh!t published by Amiaya Entertainment that she was presented with an opportunity.Submitting her first short story entitled "The Good Ol'Days" to Inch and Tania the Owner and CEO of Amiaya Entertainment, sparked their interest in this aspiring author.After many emails and phone conversations her story was bought and published in the book "Social Security" which contains other works by other authors as well.After having a short story published the company once again was in contact with Shay to see what she could offer in the form of a full length novel.Presenting the first five chapters of a story they were intrigued by her unique writing style and the way she is able to hold her readers attention from the beginning to the end. From there "Truth Hurts" was born and contracts were signed introducing a new author to the literary world.Since the release of "Truth Hurts" in July of 2006 the city of Milwaukee, along with countless others have embraced this new author, and have been a big part of making everyone around take notice.After being interviewed on a local television station (TMJ4) on a program called THE MORNING BLEND, Shay has sparked attention from many other local television and radio stations alike.Staying grounded and down to earth is a big part of her motivation to be successful.One day she hopes to help others realize their dream of becoming a writer by starting her own publishing company CALLED TURN THE PAGE ENTERTAINMENT,LLC.
