| REVENGEIn the early 80's after a few Years Punk & Dark guitar experience (Corruptio Funebris, Nijinsky Folie) I started with r'n'r and Upright Bass.
I've been performing in the R'n'R scene since 1984.
My first gig with the doghouse was as supporter at the Meteors in 1985 in Milano - Italy with my former Band THE TRIBAL BOPS; later we succeded in having one single in 1987 by Attack Punk Italy, then a 12'' (Get to the Bop) in 1989 By fun Acapulco mixed by Mr. Boz Boorer! and a CD 1991 by Rockhouse - Holland.
We spent a lot of time touring all over Europe.In 1995 I started a new Band called the STARLITERS. I 've been playing with them since the featuring a lot of important european R'n'R meetings: two times at Silvester Shodown in Gunzburg, Jitterbug Records Festival in Hannover, Rockabilly Meeting in Barcelona, Bourges (France) and we toured all over Europe. With them I cutted "Dig boy Dig", a splitted 10 inch album with the Tennessee Boys, for Tail Records in october 1996, then the E.P. "Feelin'like a Star" (Favourite Records - Berlin) and the 10 inch "Pickin'up Speed" for Tail Records (Sweden); I also featured with other artists backing the tours of the american piano players MITCH WOOD and STEVE LUCKY, and sometimes with the Great guitar player MARCO DI MAGGIO, with whom I backed SONNY BURGESS during the italian tour.Meanwhile in 1997 I started to work for an important Sociologiacal Research Institute (ISPO), with the Starliters I featured at the 3rd Rockabilly Rave in november 1998 as well as at the Rhythm Riot in 2000, two of the most important R'n'R meetings worldwide.
As ROBERT GORDON backing band we performed at the Silvester party in Zurich (1999) and during his Italian Tour (2000) as well as at the Tennesssee Club in London in march 2001.At the same time I used to work as R'n'R DJ in Milano (ALKATRAZ, RAGOO), spinnig records as well as at the 3rd and 4th SUMMER JAMBOREE in Senigallia-Italy.We spotted the 21th Hemsby Rock'n'Roll Weekender in May 2001, while the new 7 inch "Honky tonk Guitar child" recorded for the japanese Label "On the Hill" was coming out. Later, during a STARLITERS Swedish tour in August 2001 we recorded the CD "Lightin the Stars" for Tail Records. Our explosive end show at Rave 2003 in England, put the Starliters at the higlight of the rockabilly scene. I featured at the fantastic Hangar Rocking Meeting in Switzerland backing the well known texan singer Marty Brom; then one more with lady Broom at the Munich at th Rockabilly meeting 2004. In 2005 a four months and a good experiance in a bunch of gigs with the BLUE GRASS STUFF, teached me lotta thing about Blugrass Bass tecnique.High Rockabilly in Calafell - Spain 2004, the 3rd Portugal Haloa august 2006 are stage where i spotted; my last important experience was, to play upright with Marvin Rainwater at the Frog & Roll Weekend september 2006 in France.I 2000 I started a SCI-FI band called the COSMICS and we recorded the first "Jene Show Soundtrack" for a National Television Channel.I feature also with some other Rockabilly outfit and ...wherever it rocks!.But I enjoy more than ever playing GUITAR in a punk'n'roll band called the CHEAPBOOZERS, putting in that sound all my long R'n'R experience.
