| MERAKHAAZAN is the solo project of french doublebassist Jean-Christophe Bournine (member of Marto ventouz, collaborations with theatre, dance...). This "one man band" explore the possibiities of electronics and self sampling (using a looper pédal) on a classical doublebass played as well "arco" as "pizzicato" and others "way of playing". The music of merakhaazan is a research of a personnal musical world including many influences from contemporary classic to expériment ambient stuffs, but also radical hardcore métal or "éléctronica like" forms.
