BIOGRAPHY Rob Benny is a diverse, genre-defying Musician/Songwriter with a neverending thirst for ambition. His brand of music incorporates many elements, including (to mention a few) New Wave, Disco, Electronica, R&B, House, Ambient Soundscapes, Adult Alternative, and above all....great Pop with groove and substance. Very crafty hooks and catchy melodies compliment his complex arrangements, designed for those who long for something challenging, different, and unique. He is never afraid to experiment, taking the roads less traveled away from the highways of mediocre modern-day Mainstream music. Rob Benny is also a freelance writer/reviewer/publicist as well. Formerly a writer for RockEyez E-Zine, he has interviewed and many great musicians including Steve Hogarth (Marillion), Mike D'Antonio (Killswitch Engage), and Vorph (Samael) to name only a few. He has taken a break from writing for a while to focus on his music career, but will certainly go back actively writing sometime in the future.
