About Patric Steel Glorious songs,blazing guitar and soulful vocals by an artist who pushes the rock envelope. Influences include The Stones,The Yardbirds,Albert King and The Byrds to name a few.The Patric Steel catalog is released exclusively by the Masterwerks label, and since 2002 ,this songwriter,guitarist and vocalist known for finely honed material with powerful guitar playing has released fifteen solo cds and one duet (Steel Flynn)cd to date.The former lead guitarist and vocalist for The Cinders brings his experiences to his solo releases. The writer says "I like songs that make a statement and I can tell if the song I finish will hold up if it has a strong title" Ive studied classical music,copied guitar parts from jazz records but for me rock and blues is the only music that ever moved me. Patric Steel is currently promoting his brand new cd entitled Roll Like Thunder which has many great new songs, such as the the rocking "Sweet Little Rock n' Roller" , "Rock Around The World"and the Dylanesque "Somewhere Down The Line".
