| Anna Hefetz, 27, made in israel. A musician by birth and a sound engineer. Producing & DJing a wide variety of diverse styles. Acid tech house, minimal, psy progressive house/trance, breaks, electro, ambient, triphop and more. Her sound is unique and intelligent, combining funky grooves with deep mysterious feel. Anna is performing live with both of her projects- Annarchy and Pi. Annarchy’s Live act it making noise around the world, gaining a fast growing reputation for her intelligent and ever evolving sounds that captivate any dance floor.Her psy progressive tunes are being released on labels such as Nano, Iboga, Flow, Domo, Transient records with more to follow. Annarchy's debute album is to be released within the next few months! Annarchy has also seen herself collaborating with some of the most well respected producers in the genre, including Dick Trevor and George Barker, with whom she created timeless classics like “Eargate”, which soared to the top of the Beatport charts. More of this collaboration to come soon. She performed worldwide in some of the finest venues in the field such as- Earthcore (Australia) 2004 Happy people (Switzerland) 2004 Origin festival (South Africa) 2005 Universo Parallelo (Brazil) 2005 Wingmakers festival (UK) 2005 Glade festival (UK) 2005 T.A.Z festival (Israel) 2006 Doof festival (Israel) 2007 Groovy troopers (South Africa) 2007 Sunrise festival (UK) 2007 Played amongst top artists such as Sonkite+Minilogue, Atmos, Extrawelt, Infusion, Richie Hawtin, Simon Posford, Eatstatic, Aphex twin, Squarpusher, and many more. Anna is in the psy progressive field since 2001. started as a resident for a number of clubs around Israel, studied sound engineering in order to produce her own music on 2002 until moved to the uk for a couple of years, in which she kept composing and producing . Since Anna Started producing she has found herself crossing disciplines and creating music for the media and arts (films, games, fassion shows) as well as dancefloor matirials. One of her tunes was chosen to promote one of the biggest clothing companies in Israel "Renuar”, more projects are in the making. On the more downbeat side of things her freestyle project “Pi”, which incorporates live instruments and Anna’s vocals, is already spreading magic over well respected stages with its large range of deep original and mysterious electronica. Pi's first release is soon to come out on Aleph zero. |
