| Formed in 2000 founding members and childhood friends Bong Waters, Norbert Bujanowicz, Stev Gonzalez formed the band Anemic on the south side of Chicago. They later found out a band over seas shared the same name. The group later chose the name ChlamyDia. The group later ran into trouble with their drummer. After a few fill in on drums the group meet a local Chicago native Eric Chu in mid 2004. who came up the local Chicago scene playing in such band as Savius, Tañio, and Remember In December. Eric would later fill in on drums full time. With the line up now complete and a new feel and chemistry the group set out on a massive cycle of live shows. In between gigs the band found time to record minor material to circle the Chicago metal scene. In 2005 new to the concepts of audio recording. Bong Waters record what would be the bands first established demo. He would later and go and direct and edit the bands first music video. Opening for such band as Primitive Violence, Soul Pollution, and even playing the second stage of the Rave in Milwaukee, WI at the Soulfly 2005 Dark Ages Tour. Due to family issues Eric was forced to leave the band. The group stayed grounded, but also worked on varius solo projects. After a year of laying low and getting family life in order Eric was once again the bands full-time drummer. Also, a new edition to the band. Turning the four piece band into a five piece. Larry Herrera, joined the band in the summer of 2007 on guitar. The group the decides one more change, the band name. The new name of the band is KILLMEDIA. With a new feel and new approach towards song writing the bands hopes to provide a sonic blast of massive and crushing riffs, racing beats, pounding drums, banging bass, surging vocals.
