In the fine and wonderful year of 2004, a need arose. A local radio station in Ottawa, Kansas was struggling to find it's stride. A couple of deejays from that very radio station, 90.5 KRBW, decided to come up with a fun and creative way to support the station. One idea was to create a hip-hop/rap mega crew and donate all the proceeds to the cause of station betterment. The decision was unanimous; it would never work. Nevertheless, they forged on and went against their senses. On that fateful day, the Crackajack Crew was born. There was no need to cut any umbilical cord, no need to wipe up any disgusting fluids; the Crackajack Crew was born full-grown and ready to own! Since its creation, the Crackajack Crew has maintained it's purpose; to create and deliver absudly happy hip-hop to the masses. Through the jungle of hard-core hip-hop on their fun-vine they swing, tossing out sensationally stupefying CDs to various monkeys, panthers, and snakes along the way as they continually look to improve the lives of those they encounter. While doing so, they donate all the proceeds from all their albums to various charitable organizations (ie. the Invisible Children, Sphereofhiphop.com, etc.). Their humble beginnings in Ottawa, Kansas continue to rise... It appears that the Crackajack Crew has become more of a cause than a rap group, and that's exactly how they like it.
