WWW.MONICAVALLES.COMI will start by saying thank you for taking some time out of your busy schedules to read a lil bit about me ; ) I started modeling and acting as a child. At a very young age I already knew that I wanted to dance, sing, model, act, do hair and make-up believe it or not. I did all those things as a child and now as an adult I continue my training. I was just about 5 when I started playing with make-up and hair and I practiced and acted out performance scenes as a singer…but of course not professionally just outside in front of my house…hee…hee : )
My audience would be just about anyone that was walking by or my family. I think I was in 6th grade when I started looking through the phone book to look for some modeling and acting schools. I was so determined in all this and I made my father spend a lot of money in my training classes. Do I have any regrets? Of course not… I’m so glad I did what I did! This has been a very fun, exciting and stressful career! It has been a challenge. Just when you think it will be a piece a cake to break in the business either because you have the looks and/or you know you have talent. You never ever stop to think that it’s really not about who you are. It’s more about who you know. Sad, to say but its reality!You do go through many disappointments in this industry but hey we all go through many disappointments in life anyway so why not go through them for your dreams to reach your goals, right? I have been through it all, let me tell you! But that’s a longer story. We’ll save for next time ;) My passion is acting, of course. I still have yet to see myself on the big screen…ok let me dream on ;) Yes, it is my dream but I don’t just sit there and dream about it. I’m always working very hard to obtain my dreams and goals! I have put myself through continuous training in acting, dance, music, voice, performance, musical theatre, Spanish theatre, theatre, on camera skills, teleprompter, improvisation, kickboxing, horseback riding…my gosh…and there is not enough time in the day to do more. But there still other skills and training that I would like to take. For instance, I would love to take boxing, professional stunt motorcycle riding techniques etc…I thank the Lord for everything he has brought into my life and for all my experiences no matter good or bad. Everything I have been through and experienced has made me the person that I am today! This career hasn’t been the easiest at all. I have worked on many projects and a lot of my work has been in magazines, calendars, advertisements, TV, Film and videos… Am I famous?…NO…Am I a celeb?...NOT EVEN CLOSE so that means I have to work harder!!!Don’t misunderstand me though, my passion and dream is not the famous or celebrity status of course if I do obtain that title there won’t be any complaints on my end ;) and carrying such a title would give me the power that I need to work as a fulltime actress in motion picture in action and comedy movies! In my spare time I like to workout and pamper myself with massages and shopping ;) I love the outdoors! I can’t say no to horseback riding, motorcycle rides, the river, beach, mountains, snow and quads-dirt bike activities. My gosh! too many to name. I have been blessed with a beautiful, caring and supportive family! If it wasn’t for them I would have never thought or even imagined that I could do pretty much anything I wanted in life as long as I worked for it. I have the Lord, my family, friends and you to thank for my motivation in all that I do and all my accomplishments!! Thank you!!Love you guys always!!!Xoxo…Moni |
