Brought To You By... The Sunkissed Barrelabisca is a musical act comprised of musicians from various walks of life with training in many different musical aspects. TSB hails from Shreveport, LA and is working with many different outlets in order to reach everyone as opposed to just one particular group of people. Most bands pick a sound, stick to that formula, and release it to a certain demographic; however, TSB, aka “The Bisca”, set out to do something different. From their conception in 2005, The Bisca formed on the premise that they would be a band for all genres; a concept that still to this day is not understood by the average listener. With each member having their own influences, this was a band that had to compromise in order to work, and that compromise led to a unique sound that encompasses every type of music from rock, metal, reggae and funk, to psychedelic trip hop, jam band, classical composition and jazz fusion. Therein lays the name, The Sunkissed Barrelabisca. The name is whatever you would like it to be. It is everything.With a group that has such a plethora of difference in sound the name had to reflect. There is a saying in this band, “You never know what you’ll find in the Barrelabisca”. With music that tears away from the norm and shies completely away from being molded or shaped by industry standard these words couldn’t be any more fitting. This band definitely has its own sound. The Bisca built their very own studio in 2005 with their bare hands and upon completion filled their new studio with every thing imaginable that would be needed to produce their own product. Over the course of the last two years this band has written, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered their very own product overcoming every obstacle, hurdle, and form of adversity that can be expected when taking on such a project. This determination gave them the title of the hardest working band in northwest Louisiana. Due to this determination and will to succeed, TSB released their debut LP “All of This” through their very own label, Bretheren Records (ASCAP), on September 21, 2007, and is receiving rave reviews from the public. This album is part one of a trilogy concept fully entitled “All of This In One Hollywood Kiss” with “In One” being the second installment with a release date of early 2008, and the third installment, “Hollywood Kiss”, with a release date of fall 2008. The Sunkissed Barrelabisca is constantly working even if they aren’t on stage every day. The Bisca is more than just a band. It is sheer entertainment from the music to the personalities of each individual member. TSB has been fortunate enough to share the stage with Soulfly, Flaw, Moira Red, Ethylene, and The Infamous Jaguar Shark.
