The idea of Pervertum Obscurum manifested itself in 2004 when I decided to pick up my guitar and devote my playing style to the bands that I grew up with. Once I had decent studio equipment I began working through a 2 year period of recording and songwriting that made up my 6 song debut demo "Mass Murder Mutilation". A local label Evilspeaks Records showed interest and decided to press up 500 copies on pro cassette and most copies have sold out, but I have a few left so be fast. I am recording my full length CD called "Within the maelstrom of fire" and this has more advanced songwriting, yet still maintaining the barbaric feel of the demo. At the present I am looking for a label who will release this to the underground hordes. Pervertum Obscurum is strictly a studio and solo endeavour so there are no distractions and politics that a full band line-up can have. It leaves me to the task of solely recording and writing music, thus not a revolving door of band members and conflicting musical styles and ideas. I run both Pervertum Obscurum and Excarnated pages so labels, zines, radio stations, bands and underground freaks feel free to be in contact with me.
