| Premade MySpace Layouts by Iron Spider Katfish grew up on the west side of Louisville and was raised listening to and playing the R & B sounds of the 60's. When most were playing the Beatles he was playing the soulful sounds of Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett and of course the great one B.B. King. Katfish developed a sound that was like no other of that era. A sound that still keeps him in demand as a performer today. Katfish started recording and touring in the early 70"s with a group called The Esquires. They had top ten hits with the songs "Hey Girl" and "Stay All Night". Katfish has played large and small venues and prefers the more intimate setting. Katfish stated "I've played a lot of large clubs, even State Fair Arena's, but its just not the same as being able to look the crowd in the eyes".That's why he has chosen to play many small venues along with the large. He calls it his "One On One Tour". Feedback from the fans is what he loves. |
