| Eon is concieved due to endurable friendship bonds and common musical interests that flourish with mutual cooperation and entangled dreams of creating music together. The band starts during the summer of 2003 in Monterrey, an industrial city amongst majestic mountains in Mexico.
The nominative "eon" is chosen because it reflects a long period of time yet not determined by exact human means. "People like us, who believe in physics, know that the distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion." Einstein Our music encounters diverse elements like urban, classical and metal immersed in deep feelings throughout the influence of our contrastant environment. We expect to share our expression to everyone with an open heart. "For small creatures such as we, the vastness is bearable only through love." Carl Sagan Eon has participated in various national and international fests in Mexico along with many great bands such as: Leaves Eyes, Atrocity, Sentenced, Luzbel, Epica, Transmetal, The Gathering, Lacuna Coil, etc. Band´s demo "Spirals" released in 2005 had a good response in both national & international audiences. By 2006, just after signing with Asenath Records, band presents a special EP devoted to horror just for the mere joy, a common like of all members, staff & dark audiences: "The Witch´s Mirror ...con mal de ojo". And now, in April 28th, 2007 the band shares the ultimate experience of a full lenght album: "Envision | a fragmented drama", revealing the contents in a concert where for the first time a national metal band fills the famous Café Iguana to its full capacity & to share some more... the experimental oberture "Echoes of an Unbroken Dawn" (c. figueroa) was released with the collaboration of over 20 metal & classical musicians -sopranos, mezzosopranos, tenors, growls, keyboards & percussion-, performancers, and more. Welcome to the journey where you are the main character entwined betwixt the music...
