Aortan (ex Godplayer, Grain) is a guitar instrumental experiment fusing the essential elements of Metal, Rock and Progressive, replacing vocals with guitar so that the listener can interpret what they want from the music, taking them on their own musical journey without the influence or distraction of words.Inspired by the likes of Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, John Petrucci and Marty Friedman, Aortan is both heavy and melodic, dark yet light.
