Intro

Hi! I am Marcia Pontes. I was born in Recife, Brazil. When I was two years old, my family moved to the city of Fortaleza, state of Ceará, located at the northeast part of Brazil, a beautiful and tropical sunny place surrounded by palm trees, and exotic people. I had the best childhood one can imagine and made most of my friends there. I still remember the happy moments with nostalgia and fascination. I always think of my friends, and how we used to ride bicycles on the neighborhood, or spending Saturdays in my house just for fun! Some of those dear friends I still keep in touch. I studied at a private school, including Colégio Santa Cecília (high school), here in Fortaleza, Ceará. I studied English and Spanish at school because I always enjoyed getting to know about other cultures, places and people. During my childhood, I had the opportunity to take different dancing classes and styles. My favorite one was classic Ballet. I learned how dancing and exercising the body can improve one's well-being and develop a healthy life, allowing one to become a better person!
