Trusting in Him who can go with me, and remain with you, and be everywhere for good, let us confidently hope that all will yet be well. -Abraham Lincoln...yep, kind of obsessed with that old dude Abe Lincoln...when you grow up in a town that revolves around the history of his life i guess it tends to happen...i have discovered that i love people. more than just your typical likes to be around people, person. i truly feel so full because of the simplest of interactions with people. nothing can make me smile more than knowing I made someone's day a bit brighter. or simply to have a great interaction with someone. even something as simple as a genuine smile. people that know me well know this-i can pretty much talk to anyone, but many times choose not to. wierdly enough i hate small talk, but i love learning. i love the tough questions. i love getting to the core of what makes someone whom they are. we are such a dynamic people on this planet and everyone, although somehow intertwined walks such a different walk in life. i think it would be amazing to be able to truly walk a day in other peoples shoes and literally experience life in the way that they do. wouldn't that be such a great way to understand that world. maybe that would truly unite us as human beings despite the ways we differ. i guess this makes me an extrovert. what i think is it makes me a LOVE OF PEOPLE.I am learning that life doesn't always have to be exciting or an adventure. that sometimes it is in those quiet still moments in life that we learn the most. I am also learning that I love a challenge. There is nothing that can get me moving faster than proving to myself or someone that i can do the unexpected. i would say that this also can tend to get me into trouble or into places that i don't necessarily want to be. Luckily I always seem to find myself back on track......i would also say, i am a lover of Jesus. That i really do believe things happen for a reason. That i do believe in the power the love and grace of God.I am also a fiance...(something i never thought i would hear myself say) to the most amazing, patient, understanding, grace giving man on the planet!
