| Alexander Pérez Hernández, known as Alex Sandunga, was born on November 26 1976 in San Francisco de Paula, La Habana , Cuba. Since his childhood he showed his taste for the theatre, dances, arts and poetry, but it was the music that really made Alex to express himself to his plenitude.In 27 of February 1997 he founds the Alto Voltaje, an electric and alive rap group that quickly becomes one of most respected - due to its strong opinion - and known in all the country. He becomes a member of the Association Hermanos Saíz, (Association which helps young people creators till the age of 35 years) and by the philosophical, social, and rebel treatment (love and social injustice), becomes an activist of this movement been considerate the most dared group in the year of 2002 at the Festival opening with texts that will describe the situation of the Cuban People: The harassment of the police, the racism and the agony of a nation who lives with no resources .His stylist dedication and his musical and literary compositions are enriched by a mix not only of rap music but a fusion with other different Cuban rhythm embracing even the reaggeton, reason why music such as created by Alex Sandunga have become so popular among the Cuban citizens.Alex Sandunga lives nowadays in Helsinki, Finland.To know more about him, visit the oficial website www.alexsandunga.com
