| JUST THE TIP OFFICIAL VIDEO From a young age it was clear that Danny Nagels, real name Dan Shafro, was going to be involved in music in one way or another. His music career began humbly when his parents enrolled him in piano lessons, instruction which would develop a solid foundation for a successful musical career. As a teenager, Danny was highly devoted to the drums and has played them for over 7 years professionally. His dedication to the drums would help him greatly when he would ultimately begin his journey into production, enabling him to construct melodies and rhythmic patterns from his mind directly into the track without having even heard it. At the tender age of 18, Danny’s love affair with house music would finally blossom. The young teenager attended some of Toronto’s best nightclubs and parties, and upon hearing Steve Lawler’s flawless blends and transitions, it was clear that becoming a DJ was his newfound prerogative. Relentless practice and dedication allowed Danny to develop the skills he would need to become a successful DJ, but it was his love for music and positive attitude that helped him carve a unique niche in Toronto’s house music circuit. With barely 2 years of DJing under his belt, Danny has already played out almost all of the city’s top clubs, including The Guvernment, The Docks (Sound Academy), Footwork, Century Room, HOTEL, Rockwood, Mink, and many more. He has also played alongside the cities top local DJs and international heavyweights like The Global Deejays, MC Flipside, and Jaimie Fanatic. His love for house music would turn the young house addict towards production, and alongside production partner Joey Seminara, the duo have already put forth powerful tracks winning over international recognition and support, as well as their remix of Jaimie Fanatic’s "Break Ya Neck" charting 59 on Beatport’s top 100 progressive chart after only a few days! Powered by unyielding ambitions and a strong work ethic, it goes without saying that Danny Nagels is a rising talent in not only Toronto’s house music industry, but the international scene as a whole.
