Festival a curator of the international "Independent Arts"-Festival since 1988 with focus on artistic activities performed in scenes such as home-tape, Mail-Art, street art, small press, … on top of that, video, performance and fine art artists do get the possibility to exhibit and perform their creativity. Last Festival was in 2006.
Mail-Art Encyclopaedia an editor and publisher of “Mail-Art Encyclopaedia” a research in the history of Mail-Art and related networking art movements.

Sztuka Fabryka Archive Focus on international networks such as Mail-Art, street art, small press, home-tape, video art, performance art, art & technology, industrial art & music, surfing on the edge and more / artworks, publications, video, music, … and information from about 1500 international artists.


"Independent Arts"-Festival Goal - Since 1988, the "Independent Arts"-Festival has grown towards an international known event for any form of creativity. The aim of the Festival is both to present an overview of world wide independent creativity, performed by communication networks, and to create a meeting place for exchanging the acquired experiences.

Concept - The Festival mainly focuses on artistic activities performed in scenes such as home-tape, Mail-Art, street art, small press, … On top of that, video, performance and fine art artists do get the possibility to exhibit and perform their creativity. The Festival focus itself also on the interaction between artists and visitors, visitors will not only be able to "see" but also to "do" in various ways. As such, the "Independent Arts"-Festival is unique in its kind.
