2008 The new EP "Tail Eating Dogs" is released. It includes 5 songs, over 30’ of metal entirely composed, arranged, recorded, mixed and mastered as well by the band itself, gathering all the experiences, influences and musical passion developed through these years, yielding something true and original. The work is enriched with the amazing voice of an excellent guest star: Zak Stevens - former singer of the legendary Savatage and lead vocalist of Circle II Circle nowadays - who plays the ending verses of the title track. 2007 Matteo leaves the band, being replaced by Elia. The first promo actually reflects no more the band potentiality and Evilfire rush into the recording of a new EP showing a constant artistic evolution revealed in harder music arranged with new lyrics, concerning thoughts and criticism about Society and the Human being. The line up change is not the only twist, the band is strong-willed and ready to rock, like never before. 2004-2006 "Promo 2005" is released and the band plays several gigs in the most important clubs around North Italy receiving positive impressions both from the crowds and the specialized magazines. The guys also participate in the musical contest "Emergenza Rock 2005", reaching the final steps as the only heavy metal band with remarkable success. 2001-2003 Evilfire make a radical change towards a more creative and professional attitude. The lead guitarist Loris and the screamer Mauro reach the combo and the explosive power-heavy-thrash mixture moulds the sound of the band. 1996-2000 Evilfire is created by three teens with the passion for hard’n’heavy music and the need to express themselves. Andrea (vocals and guitar), Marco (guitar) and Riccardo (drums) are soon joined by Matteo (bass) so that the band is caught up and the story begins... |
