Alan Emmins is a journalist and non-fiction author who was born in England in 1974. After living in New York, where he wrote for the New York Post and the Daily News, he relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark. His articles have sold worldwide and cover a wide range of topics from point of interest features to investigative journalism. His texts have been translated into over a dozen languages and have appeared in Time Out, Dazed & Confused, Stern, GQ, FHM, Arena, Playboy, The New York Post, The New York Daily News, Politiken, Berlingske Tidene, Ud og Se, and many others. The US rights for Mop Men have just been bought by Thomas Dunne Books. It is due for hardback release in spring 2009.
