FLYCAT BIOGRAPHY Luca, aka FLYCAT , begins an his artistic career by embracing Italys HIP HOP culture in the early 80s, dedicating himself primarily to art and music. FLYCAT soon becomes well-known on the Italian scene as well as on an international level through his numerous personal art and music productions. In 1995 he officially becomes a part of the cultural-artistic Chicano movement of East Los Angeles, collaborating with some of the most authoritative representatives such as the painter, Chaz Bojorquez, the poet/writer author of the best seller Always Running, Luis J. Rodriguez, and the photographer and director Estevan Oriol of the Soul Assassins Family. In 1996, with the release of his "Per Spyder 7 R.I.P" album, FLYCAT fully confirms himself an integral part of the Italian HIP HOP music scene. In 1997 the release of the mini EP Una domanda alla risposta (A Question to the Answer), sanctions the start of collaborations with musical groups in Los Angeles. The beginning of work that aims to unite, in their reciprocal diversity, the Italian and American HIP HOP culture. In 2003, after seven years of artistic exchanges, the most ambitious project takes life. The realization of an album musically produced by the American group: PSYCHO REALM & STREET PLATOON, the famous SICK SYMPHONIES, actually FLYCATs signature with one of the most noteworthy independent Italian labels, SKILL TO DEAL REC., of which the artist is an integral part. The project required over one year of work and constant moving to produce the songs, entirely played, recorded and mixed in the Drug Lab Studios, Los Angeles,CA. -ITALIAN- BIOGRAFIA FLYCAT Luca, in arte FLYCAT, inizia la sua carriera artistica abbracciando la cultura HIP HOP all'inizio degli anni ottanta in Italia, dedicandosi principalmente all'arte e alla musica. FLYCAT diviene ben presto una figura di rilievo nel panorama italiano e riconosciuto personaggio di spicco a livello internazionale attraverso le sue numerose personali produzioni d'arte e musicali, come testimoniano le interviste nei media specializzati e le apparizioni radio televisive. Nel 1995 entra ufficialmente a far parte nel movimento culturale-artistico Chicano di East Los Angeles, collaborando con alcuni dei più autorevoli rappresentanti quali il pittore CHAZ BOJORQUEZ, il poeta scrittore autore del best sellers "Always running" LUIS J. RODRIGUEZ ed il fotografo e regista ESTEVAN ORIOL della Soul Assassins Family. Nel 1996 con l'uscita dell'album "Per spyder 7 R.I.P", FLYCAT si conferma a pieno merito parte della scena musicale Hip Hop italiana. Il progetto ha richiesto più di un anno di lavoro e di continui spostamenti per la realizzazione delle canzoni, interamente suonate, registrate e mixate presso gli studi del Drug Lab a Los Angeles,CA.
