Inky Winky Spider The leader and pied piper who “loves to learn” and winks when he thinks, Inky Winky inspires his friends to do the same as they join him in adventures that make learning fun. The most mature and stable member of the cast, Inky can be relied upon to bring order, wisdom and resolution to most situations. Identified by his signature beret and fountain pen, Inky is both artist and art aficionado. He’s great at drawing numbers, letters and pictures, and encourages his friends to develop their artistic talents as well. Fluffy Luffy This pink bowed gum chewer is always fixing her big hair and applying fruit flavored Chap Stick to her pink lips. Clad in pink go-go boots, Fluffy is vain and fashion-conscious, prone to self-centeredness and sometimes a bit stubborn. With the help of her friends, however, she eventually sees the bigger picture and rises to her better self. A creative type who makes things out of almost anything, Fluffy’s talent proves highly valuable when the spiders encounter problems or get into physical trouble. Great with colors and coordination, Fluffy also recognizes and applauds the creativity in others. Spinny Linny The brainy one of the bunch, Spinny looks the part with conservative Mary Jane shoes and tightly combed back hair. Jokes fly over Spinny’s head and she often misses the obvious on topics requiring common sense, but Spinny can always be relied upon to help others with homework and help explain things in a logical manner and detailed manner. The scientific and practical side of Spinny always chooses healthy foods for her growing body and reminds her friends to choose just as wisely. Big, bulky and at first glance quite intimidating, Furry is actually the most emotional member of the group. Adoringly dufey, he understands feelings, especially when others are hurt, and serves as psychologist for the cast. Lacking in confidence, Furry tries to hide in class to avoid being called on by his teacher. He also requires frequent validation from his friends, especially when it’s time to make a decision. Sporting an Elvis swish, he’s a real music lover, often bee-bopping to his favorite music. Murray is also the junk food junkie of the group and often needs to be put “back on the wagon” of good eating. Crawly Wally Whether rocking on his skateboard or tipping back and forth on his chair at school, Wally’s loaded with motion and can be prone to having too much fun. A firecracker and a wisecracker, Wally blows up quickly and throws off steam, but quickly gets over his outbursts. Kind at heart, Wally won’t hold a grudge. An average student who’s very animated, Wally excels in street smarts and knows all the ropes. He’s also the leader in Phys Ed and makes sure everybody in the group stays physically fit.
