About Me |

From as far back as I can remember music has been a part of my life. As a listener, hearing the songs of Luke kelly at an early age from old tapes of my father , sitting by the fire ,I was transported into the fields of dublin and the mountains of Cork and Kerry. I Started playing the guitar at 14 , I wanted to sing the songs of my heros, (like Christy Moore and Bob Dylan) and add to the collection of folk songs that I loved and still do. For some time however I was completly content with singing the songs that touched me , although I still do , I felt I needed to express myself through my own work so a while ago I picked up a pen and wrote the "Screen play". Bit by the bug I can not and dont want to stop writing and singing. The buzz you get from performing and singing your own songs is second to none . Now things are going well I played around the North of Ireland and traveled as far as Norway singing . this is my debut EP , called screenplay (there is more information about it on my blog), I hope you like what ya hear..... thanks baz... |
