Hi, I'm Shannon. You can call me Shann or Shannoniganz or Shenaynay- Please not Shaniqua, I don't like it. ~I'm a 25 yr old white girl from the burbs with a streak of redneck and a flair for the non dramatic. ~I'm a photographic walking contradiction. I am moved by innocence, happiness and bright colors. Equally moved by the shadowy, moody and disturbing. Chances are, you can see this for yourself in my photos. ~I have people I pay $35 a month to say they're my friends and appear in public with me at times. ($45 if they're high five equipped) ~I like music, movies and the opposite sex. I'm pretty unique, like a glistening snowflake or a curly fingerprint. ~I have no grandiose theories that my art will save the world. It merely makes my corner of it more enjoyable and if it affects you the same way, I am honored. ~ My dad reminds me of Bill Murray. ~ I used to live in Okinawa, it was bomb. ~ I adore nachos, men singing in unison, springtime, real friendships and horror movies. Also, pretty sure Tenacious D makes the world go round. ~My favorite jobs to shoot are Weddings, Bands and Portraits. Basically anything to do with people.. There's nothing like getting to interact with a person and having an image afterwards that tells the story of that unique, fleeting moment in time. ~I appreciate you reading these little snippets of myself and hope I came off as moderately interesting. :) |
