Tweed Speedo was a "work in progress" band. Never playing out, never being able to find reliable bass players or other musicians, and sitting on tons of material, we stumbled into the studio and recorded a fuckload of songs. The band is now just basically me, Phil Uranus, working all instruments in the studio, and I have enlisted the help of a ghoul named Pixie for helping on guitars.We concider this the 10th anniversary of Tweed Speedo, so we have recorded and re-recorded songs that will post on this site.As of recently, we have been hinting of getting a live show going, so keep an eye out for the Mighty Speedo to visit your little shithole town soon...In case you didn't notice, we are big Cramps fans. When I finally decided which way I wanted this band to go, I had just seen the Cramps play in Ybor City in Tampa; I remember thinking "Man, they almost got it. What's missing?" then it dawned on me. They got the fuckin' sound down, but for me, they just were'nt raunchy and dirty enough. I wanted a band like the Cramps, but as fucking filthy and sick as possible.
