| Der 1979 in Berlin geborene Rapper MC Bogy tauchte ca. 1998 zum ersten Mal auf BC Tapes auf. Er war damals schon ein in der Westberliner Szene bekannter Battlerapper. 2002 kam nach Verzögerung sein erstes Soloalbum "Lyrischer Hooligan" raus und es folgte 2003 ein Sampler namens "Bogy & Atzen". 2004 kam dann sein neuestes Werk auf den Markt, mit dem Titel MC Bogy - Der Atzenkeeper". Was der Gangster der Bässe selbst als sein erstes richtiges Album bezeichnet.
Bogy ist ein Gründungsmitglied der BC Crew, die unter anderem das legendäre Untergrundlabel Bassboxxx gründete. Über die Jahre entwickelte sich der Lyrische Hooligan zu einem der besten und authentischsten Rapper im Spiel. Sein Motto wie er an die Sache rangeht lautet : Ich verarbeite mein Leben in meinen Liedern - das ist meine Form von Selbsttherapie".
Seid dem Zerfall des alten Bassboxxxx Lagers bringt MC Bogy seine Musik über sein eingenes Label namens "Noch mehr Ketten Entertainment" raus. Bogy ist zudem oft in andere Projekte invollviert oder sucht Nachwuchskünstler.
Man kann sagen was man will, beschäftigt man sich mit der Berliner Untergrundrap Geschichte kommt man an MC Bogy nicht vorbei... |
