My name is Feral Beral and i'm a drag performer in Melbourne and love to meet new people and use my drag profile to help the community and have alot of fun with what i do with it!
I love to go out on the town and cause havoc, been a bit quiet of late but looking to get back into club work and finding new places to hang out. I've performed at heaps of clubs and community events over the years doing drag shows,dancing, performance art, hosting, etc. This is my passion and i love to do this.
Ideally my dream one day would be to make music as my character Beral but one thing is , my voice is shite but i can write a basic song! If anyone out there just wants to jam and harmonize lets hook up, (thats what i love to do), and if there are any hot shot producers who can tweak my voice, give me a hoy!
Also over the past 6 years I have done a little volunteer community work in the gay community. As i am hiv positive, i found it really beneficial to work with some aids organistations, and even just attending different community functions while meeting different people meant you could share your personal experiences and try to bond and open up the communication lines with hiv awareness in the wider community straight or gay.There are alot of great community organizations that do alot of great work and i'm always happy to lend a hand!
I'm a big beleiver in the more we talk about the disease openly, the less of a stigma people will face who have the illness. I also suffer from the mental illness bi-polar/borderline personality disorder and will be on medication for that probably for the rest of my life. I'm interested in talking to other sufferers and those that care for them. Its pretty managable and i havn't been hosptilized for nearly 3 years! Touch wood!
I've been in a stable relationship with my boyfriend Kerry for 14 years and eventually down the track we want to travel around Australia in a converted bus. Very Priscilla I know, but hey we all have dreams. We also have a gorgeous 11 yr old Blue Heeler X called Jackson!! His a happy dog and goes to work everyday with my boyfriend and basically is the company mascot,people love him! I'm basically a fun loving kook, who loves people, treasures my friends and family, but also i love the quiet life and love my alone time and independance.

I also happen to think Melbourne is one of the best cities in the world to make a fresh start and it's quite cheap to live in compared to alot of cities across the globe! Let's all hope soon there is more peace and love in this beautiful world!After being on myspace for a little over 6 months, it has helped my life so much! I hate to sound like a born again christian, but its changed me, i feel more positive and happy with my life and that can't be a bad thing, so to all those people (pop culture media slut outlets), please take a look to get to know how to get the hang of myspace, it takes time but eventually after trial and error it becomes fun!! To all those new people reading this i hope it encourages you to meet you new people in the flesh and get out more!! Can't wait to bring everyone who wants to be my friend, updates and tidbits from my life, because you know what its a wonderful thing LIFE! Someone once said, i think it was Nikki Spence from E-street ( my all time favourite Aussie Soap) once said, " I believe in love, and i believe love can change just about anything, as long as you share it" Funny that a cult soap can have that impact on a teenager but it did, so hopefully Australian Televisions networks will pull their finger out and produce some more product for us and the overseas market!!! |
