Hier steckt der Rockteufel oft im Detail, so dass Langeweile beim Hören der zwölf Stücke erst gar nicht aufkommen kann...das klingt sehr eigen und dennoch, oder gerade deswegen, eindringlich..Treffer. (OX - FANZINE) "Under Neon Light" ist eine echte Granatenscheibe geworden. Eine wilde Achterbahnfahrt durch die Gefilde des ewigen, nörgelnden, derben Punkrocks. Besonders beeindruckend ist "Under Neon Light", wenn die Nonnen plötzlich ein Instrumentalstück mit Bläserpunk dazwischenlegen. Vielleicht so wie No Fun At All zu ihren besten Zeiten. Nur eigentlich noch besser. Und rotziger. Kurz gesagt: klasse. (UNCLE SALLY`S) Kompliment! Was die Bamberger hier abliefern ist absolut beachtenswert!! Ihnen gelingt es den Über Rock der Skandinavier zu entschlacken und mit super eingängigen, poppigen Harmonien zu verbinden... Klingt geschrieben zwar zunächst seltsam, aber funktioniert wirklich erstklassig. Flüssige, stets geradlinige Arrangements werden mit treibenden, immer nach vorne powerden Riffs und einem beachtlich guten Sänger zu druckvollen, kleinen Punk Hymnen verdichtet, die fast immer herrlich old school rotzig und schnoddrig aus den Boxen dröhnen. Eine absolut perfekte Sommer Platte, da einerseits eingängig ohne Ende und immer gute Laune verbreitend, aber andererseits auch mit knackigem Biss und fern aller Weichspülerei. (GREEN HELL) Geht`s noch? Wie peinlich ist das denn? Ich bin jetzt 27, spiel selbst seit Jahren inner Band und erwisch mich doch tatsächlich wie ich nach ner kurzen Pinkelpause mit ner Luftgitarre vor dem Spiegel rumhampel! Schnell geschaut ob es kein Mitbewohner gesehen hat - zum Glück nicht! Die Nuns haben hier einfach ein so flottes und unbeschwertes Stück Punk-Rock hingelegt wie es mir lange nicht untergekommen ist. Eine unerwartet großartige, weil ebenso schnörkellos wie wunderbar unhippe Scheibe Punk! (TRUST) ... Durch flüssiges Songwriting mit eingängigen Melodien und Harmonien perfektioniert die Band ihren Stil auf "Under Neon Light" und erreicht ganz locker ein internationales Niveau, wie man es hier zu Lande höchstens von einer Hand voll Bands wie z.B. den Beatsteaks kennt. (ROCK HARD) ... I´m used to some pretty odd stuff when it comes to music but The Go FASTER NUNS are really in a warped league of their own - it`s not that they`re particularly weird it`s just that they`re so frickin`good - balancing their own whacked out individuality without succumbing to the forced "ke-raziness" that bands like The Dwarves and pretty much the entirety of Fat Wreck`s "comedy" line up have built long-term careers upon along with reckless all-or-nothing vocals, some dangerously infectious riffs and more energy then a puppy in a sweet-shop. Poppy punk`n`roll to dance like a maniac to in an era when everyone seems to prefer standing around with their arms crossed or jumping up and down like their Converse are filled with fire-ants. (MONTAG PRESS) The much anticipated second full-length from these unique German punk rockers that just make you wanna move - the way punk rock should be. This exemplifies the true spirit of punk rock - the freedom, the fun, and the energy - they do whatever they wanna do and it rules. This is the best material I have heard yet from the GO FASTER NUNS and they`ve always been great ... do yourself a favour and expose yourself to this strange and astonishing band. (NO FRONT TEETH) Get up and dance ... The Go Faster Nuns are back with a new long-player and I gurantee you that you will love this album. Fast forward Rock`n`Roll with a lot of energy pared with Fun Punk ... a lot of fun to listen to and absolutely catchy. All this is packed in a huge powerful recording. I wouldn`t wonder if The Go Faster Nuns will appear in the charts with "Under Neon Light", cause all twelve songs on this output have Hit quality ... no shit ...
