| I grew up in Wisconsin, in the Pentecostal church, which is where people speak in tongues. I left the church when I moved to New York City and I don't speak in tongues anymore. Unless you make me really mad...or pay me. My father considers my material "controversial," mostly because he imagines that I am making fun of Pentecostals and fundamentalist Christianity, which is pretty much true. But if God is really all the evangelicals claim he is, I'm sure he can take it.
