| Rearview Ghost knew there was a larger calling, it was over the summer of 2006 that they came together and realized the larger calling was them writing, recording and touring with one another. Putting aside their other projects all members quickly became elated working with one another and results were shocking. They drew from their inspirations such as Motley Crue, Alice in Chains, Janes Addiction, Guns N' Roses, Stone Temple Pilots and Soundgarden. "From that humid day in July, we knew we had a good old fashioned rock band, no bs, just good ole rock n' roll" bassist Flip states. Rearview Ghost write honest and telling lyrics delivered by soulful vocals of singer Josia. The lyrics are supported by catchy riffs, infectious bass parts and mind-blowing drums all giving admiration to the artists they grew up listening to. Since founding Rearview Ghost of summer of 2006, Josia and Flip have happily gained the new addition of Craig Shadix on guitar and Tim Humlicek on drums. The new lineup is changing the sound and the style is evolving to another level. Working on the new tunes right now, the EP is slated for release spring of 2008. You can expect big things from Rearview Ghost because they have proved in a short period of time that they can write, record and even produce their own material if that is what it takes. The members of Rearview Ghost will stop at nothing in order to get their music heard, they are extremely motivated by their success thus far.
