Writing, recording, and performing original music, and playing with several excellent musicians on various original projects, including January Avalanche, the incomparable Cathryn Beeks, Sandi Shaner, Eddie Jason Coven, B Violin, the great Neener, the inimitable Happy Ron, and more to come.
Record collecting with many genres represented, including old 40s and 50s jazz records, and an extensive number of more obscure artists such as King Crimson, Adrian Belew, Tangerine Dream, Dream Theater, and The Dixie Dregs, to name a few. Camping (real outdoor camping) and hiking are also great passions of mine, and I have walked literally thousands of miles just for fun. In fact, I like to party and hike at the same time, which strikes some as odd. I enjoy partying and have yet to find anyone who is better at it than I am. At least, no-one is still standing when I ask the question. After years of gigging in bars and clubs across the nation, I will party you into the floor. Come to a show and dare me! Viva Crown Royal! Music:I like alternative, whatever that is now. Rock is my first love, but I dig all types of stuff. I don't like rap, mainly because I need a little more music in my music. Jazz, Ska, Blues, R&B, Soul, Funk, Progressive, Reggae and many more styles are in my tunes collection. Movies:I prefer the old black and white movies when dialogue was intelligent and the plots weren't watered down in order to assist people without attention spans to grasp them. With all the effects available to todays producers, nothing makes up for bad dialogue, predictable stories and sh@tty acting. Some of my favorites are Clint Eastwood westerns, anything with Spencer Tracy or Errol Flynn, old horror movies, and Looney Toons cartoon movies. |

Television:Television destroys the mind and body. Try to avoid this horrible machine at all cost, unless the Chargers are playing. |

Books:BOOKS! BOOKS! BOOKS! They may yet save the world, but only if someone reads them! I love murder mysteries, courtroom dramas, fantasies, horror, sci-fi, and some non-fiction like philosophies, biographies, and histories. If you don't like to read, keep trying different kinds of books. You'll probably find something that interests you, and when you do, look out! Your empowerment as a person will begin to manifest. Knowledge is power! |
