| I am a 36 year old writer/poet, singer, and artist, in a commited LTR with my Husband, Anthony. We have been here in Seattle for just over one year, having moved from Nashville, and we are still very thrilled to be here -- we've met several fresh, fun, funky (and freaky) Seattleites and have had some amazing new Seattleanesque experiences...
I loves me some magazines! I also love books, music, and food [I don't eat meat, but I hate vegetables - what kinda vegetarian does that make me?], and hanging out with my peoples. Did I mention I loves me some magazines?
I have one published book of poetry and writings so far {cursed blessings/blessed curses: poetic tantrums and written observations} through iuniverse.com, and I'm looking forward to having the time and patience to get a few more out there, among other writing projects as well... Music:I am completely all over the place with music! Lately, I've been listenting to a lot of my friends' music which ranges from Rock to Country (Bear-Identified Musicians and Artists like Freddy Freeman, Elijah Black, Max Christopher, Kendall, Michael West, Matthew Temple, most anyone from Bear Tracks and WoobieBear Music) and Gay HipHop/R&B/ artists (Aaron-Carl, DeepDickollective, Tori Fixx, Tim'm West, God/des & She, Ari Gold, et al), but I also listen to everything from the tribal dance of Kevin Aviance to the crunchy darkness of Metal and Industrial (Slayer, Pantera, Manson, NIN, Ministry). I go for it all, about the only thing I don't listen to is reggae and bluegrass, but I have been known to find artists of those genres that intrigue me... |

Television:I am a total FREAK for the show 'Girlfriends' -- I catch every episode that I can! And most of the time I do the same for 'Will & Grace', 'King of Queens', and 'Charmed' but since they've ended, it's just not the same knowing there'll never be fresh ones... Books:Don't even get me started... I have to say first off that most of the classics do not interest me. I mainly lean towards erotic anthologies, queer fiction, biographies of folks I admire (or who amuse me), and books on Wicca, Witchcraft, and paganism -- although, with the New Agey books, I tend to lose interest quickly, which is why I'm still a novice; I can't seem to wrap my brain around all the 'positivity'... |
