GRAMMY University Network is a unique and fast growing community of college students who are pursuing a career in the recording industry.

The Recording Academy, best known for the GRAMMY Awards, created GRAMMY U to help prepare college students for their careers in the recording industry through networking, educational programs and performance opportunities.

GRAMMY U is designed to enhance students' current academic curriculum with exclusive access to recording industry professionals such as major recording artists, producers and songwriters, to give an "out of classroom" perspective to the recording industry.

Membership in GRAMMY U gives you the opportunity to meet with other students like yourself who want to be in the music industry on both a local and national level.

The GRAMMY U program is "housed" at a local college or university in each of the The Recording Academy's 12 Chapter cities: Atlanta, Chicago, Florida (Miami), Los Angeles, Memphis, Nashville, New York, Pacific Northwest (Seattle), Philadelphia, San Francisco, Texas (Austin) and Washington, DC.

Membership in GRAMMY U is only $25, compared to $100 for traditional Recording Academy members. And that $25 not only gets you access to both GRAMMY U and Recording Academy events, it delivers a host of other discounts to magazines, events and music intensive conferences nationwide.
