I'm a real down to earth woman who is outgoing, fun-loving, and very people-oriented. I'm a good woman with a good heart. I Love God, my family, and REAL friends. I LOVE Basketball, Politics, and modeling. I've had my share of hardships, but all-in-all, I feel very blessed by the Lord. Those struggles and blessings are what keeps me grounded and forever grateful. I committed many mistakes in my life but have learned from them, and refuse to repeat the same mistakes. I was weak then and it took many struggles for me to be the stronger Christian that I am today. I'd like to use the words of a very fine woman... I'm A Christian When I say... "I'm a Christian," I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin." I'm whispering "I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven." When I say... "I'm a Christian," I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble, And need CHRIST to be my guide. When I say... "I'm a Christian," I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak, And need HIS strength to carry on. When I say... "I'm a Christian," I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting that I have failed, And need God to clean my mess. When I say..."I'm a Christian," I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far to visible, But God believes I am worth it. When I say... "I'm a Christian," I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, So I call upon his name. When I say... "I'm a Christian," I'm not holier than thou. I'm just a simple sinner Who's received God's grace somehow. - Maya Angelou 2006 was a very difficult year for me b/t some very rough times in my past relationship, my senior year, graduating, preparing for the real world, and especially with the passing of my daddy. He lost his battle with Esphageol and Lung Cancer on April 5, 2006. He was only 58 years young. He was a wonderful man of very high moral integrity, and because of this, I vow to live like he did and to always make him proud. I Love You Daddy. 2007 has had many downs, but even more ups. I was able to rid myself of disloyal and vengeful "friends", cheating boyfriends, and those who didn't care for me at all. But the blessings of this year just keep on coming as my successes and the wonderful people I have in my life continue to keep me strong. |
