I started my musical career when I was 3 years old when I learned to play the piano and accordion. It didn’t take long before I started writing my own songs and melodies. I started singing when I was a child but I started singing seriously when I started my music studies in high school. That’s when things really started: I played in different groups and bands throughout Sweden and for many years I also played with the Immanuel Gospel Choir and the Stockholm East Gospel Choir. I worked for many years as a freelance musician and slowly moved into writing and music production. In 2002 I was awarded a STIM-scholarship. Songwriter/Producer ”Mas Allá” (Aleman/Hobbs/Rainey/Ruiz) is the second single from platinum selling artist, Rosa Lopez. The single is climbing the charts and is getting massive radio and TV exposure in Spain. Her album is titled ”Me siento viva” and was selected as Album of the Year in Spain in December 2006. The album has already sold triple gold and is expected to sell even more in 2007. ”Where we are” (Aleman/Hobbs/Rainey/Wei) is now the official Olympic song for the city of Qingdao for the Chinese Olympic games 2008. The official Olympic Singer is also Wei Wei, she is China’s biggest superstar and it is estimated that she has sold over 200 million units in China during her career. ”You gave me reason” (Aleman/Bertilsson/Hobbs) is Filipino artist Gary Valenciano’s new single. Right now the song is getting a lot of airplay on radio stations throughout the Philippines. It is featured on Gary’s album, ”Relevance,” which has achieved gold status. ”You are” (Aleman/Bertilsson) was recorded by Laura Pausini for her album ”From the inside” The album was released worldwide and sold gold in several countries. The record was produced by producers who have also produced Celine Dion, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Joe Cocker, Carlos Santana, Ricky Martin, Cher, *NSYNC, Jewel and others. During the years I have worked with a number of different producers, songwriters and artists, but I mostly work with my fantastic songwriting partner and friend, Brian Hobbs.
